NSW: Future of Bondi RSL looks gloomy

SYDNEY, Feb 8 AAP - The future of the beachside Bondi RSL looked gloomy today as the
financially troubled club was placed in the hands of an administrator.

Unable to meet debts after repaying a substantial bank overdraft, the club was handed over
to business recovery specialists Armstrong Wily and Co in an attempt to save the operation.

Administrator Andrew Wily said the clubhouse, which sits just metres from the northern
sands of Bondi Beach, belonged to the North Bondi sub-branch of the RSL, and not to the club.
